Carlos Andrés Aponte Otero was born & raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Being a huge fan of manga titles, he was frustrated with the lack of representation in this medium. This sparked an 8 year journey that would lead to Lifesavers. This book is an attempt to bridge the gap and inspire others to push their cultures forward.
